About ZeemValley
The ZeemValley project has aimed to plant 100 trees in the province of Málaga.
In collaboration with the Folia Project, trees could be acquired with ZeemCoins through the ZeemGO mobile application and receive a diploma accrediting you as the owner of the tree.
Furthermore, we had the opportunity to participate in the planting day, which took place on January 28, 2024.
The trees have been planted within their planting season, in winter, to ensure their survival and establishment.
With ZeemValley, we aim to contribute to the creation of a greener and more sustainable future, and we encourage everyone to join our initiative by participating in more projects like this one by downloading the ZeemGO application.

About the team
The team behind the ZeemValley project is led by Luis Cardalliaguet Muñoz, a forestry engineer and CEO of Folia Project, an organization dedicated to reforestation and environmental conservation with over 35,000 trees planted.
Luis has experience in the sustainability and environmental sector, and has led reforestation projects in the southern provinces of Spain that are most affected by the consequences of climate change and desertification.
Alongside him, a team of experts in sustainability and technology works to bring the ZeemValley project to life, with the aim of promoting reforestation and environmental conservation.
Promoting sustainability and environmental conservation through tree planting is a goal that aligns closely with our values and objectives. Additionally, by being part of the project, you offset your Carbon Footprint and generate Carbon Credits.

Planting day
ZeemGO carried out the ZeemValley project on January 28, 2024. This project involved the planting of 100 trees in the area of Puerto Collado, located in the municipality of Cómpeta, province of Málaga.
The choice of this location was not a coincidence, as Puerto Collado experienced devastating deforestation in 2014 due to forest fires.
The planting included trees of the species “pinus pinaster” and “ceratonia siliqua,” selected for their resistance and ability to adapt to the local environment.
The pinus pinaster is recognized for its crucial role in soil erosion prevention.
The European carob contributes to the fertility of surrounding crops and promotes the rehabilitation of local biodiversity.
